<\/p>Kakadu Plum (Terminalia ferdinandiana), also called the gubinge, billygoat plum, is a flowering plant native to Australia, widespread throughout the tropical woodlands from northwestern Australia to eastern Arnhem Land. The fruits $\"Kakadu$ <\/a>were eaten by Australian Aboriginal people on long treks or hunting trips and were considered more valuable as a medicine rather than as a food. Kakadu plum has a high concentration of vitamin C in its fruit: recorded concentrations of 2300-3150\u00a0mg\/100\u00a0g wet weight and occasionally as high as 5300\u00a0mg\/100\u00a0g, compared with 50\u00a0mg\/100\u00a0g for oranges, ranks among the highest known of any natural source. Vitamin C is the most essential antioxidant that slows down the aging process. It helps to form proline, an amino acid that makes collagen.\n

Kakadu plum gives the skin a natural shine and glow. It protects skin cells & skin\u2019s support structure from free radicals and other UV-related damage, increases the synthesis of collagen, reduces wrinkles and fades hyper-pigmentation and age spots.<\/p>\n
